By receiving the Holy Spirit do you agree that you are saved by the grace of Jesus Christ alone and need to perform no works for your salvation and do you also believe that God is now and has always been God and not a man who ascended to godhood?
While at it do you believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one in the same and also separate persons ( and do not say same in purpose I mean the same being )?
What Synagogue did they attend ?
There isn't a date that it happened. Because it never happened. It was a scam!
There is no other way but through the grace of Jesus Christ alone!
Did you you make a covenant with Jesus Christ and do you strive to Keep The Commandments of Jesus Christ?
restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which existed in the 1st century.

1 Tim. 3:
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
Answer the question, Yes or no. You are still displaying classic Mormon duck and cover techniques. Just answer the question and we can move on to discuss something else.
I am saved because I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and can only be saved by his grace. Nothing I do outside that will save me. Like it or not you are saved by grace only and I am very thankful for that for I am a sinner and continue to sin.
Discuss the issues all you want, but do NOT make it personal.
Certainly he has these powers if the church is true and he is God's prophet.
If he does not have these powers, then the church is a fraud.
Hm, sounds like I want to go to your Church! What a teacher you must have.
While those who reject it be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven?
Yes. I just want a simple question answered. I am hinestly not trying to offend only get a definitive answer to a yes or no question.
Thank you. I will let it go.
Maybe we can go back and translate Eqyptian death/burial rights as something entirely different and by the hand of Abraham.
1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this mans religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
2: 14 aWhat doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath bfaith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or asister be naked, and destitute of daily bfood,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye agive them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so afaith, if it hath not bworks, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my afaith by my bworks.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the adevils also bbelieve, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that afaith without bworks is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father ajustified by works, when he had boffered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by aworks was faith made bperfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham abelieved God, and it was imputed unto him for brighteousness: and he was called the cFriend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by aworks a man is bjustified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not aRahab the harlot bjustified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the aspirit is bdead, so faith without cworks is dead also.
Is that enough to make the point?
If I have offended you I am sorry. I will pray for you to be able to open your heart and mind and decide for yourself if the tenets of your church are true with the teachings of the Bible and no other document.
I think that it is not the words spoken by the malefactor that indicate repentance. It is the condition of his heart which Jesus clearly saw. One word is of utmost importance though, the act of called Jesus "Lord."
Jesus being God, and having the nature and abilities of God, could see into this man's heart. If He didn't see genuine belief and repentance He never would have promised him that he would be with Jesus in paradise.
The New Testament make it clear that without belief and repentance salvation isn't possible.
Old Mountain Man, it is not a work. It's is a revelation/understanding/acceptance from within and a decision
#527 "You are still displaying classic Mormon duck and cover techniques."
Difference??
Do mormons believe the following...
Jesus was married
Jesus and Satan are brothers
God was married to Mary and Jesus was concieved through sexual intercourse between them
In the highest degree of the celestial kingdom some men will have more than one wife
The Garden of Eden was in Missouri. All humanity before the Great Flood lived in the western hemisphere. The Ark transported Noah and the other survivors to the eastern hemisphere
Christ will not return to earth in any year that has seen a rainbow
Mormons should avoid traveling on water, since Satan rules the waters
The sun receives its light from the star Kolob
You can identify a false angel by the color of his hair, or by offering to shake his hand
Thank you. I appreciate your yes/no answers to the above.
I read that to say that James is rebuking those that call themselves believers but have not changed the way that they live their lives. They are still living secular selfish lives and not emulating Christ.
This passage does not equate salvation to performing works only to point out that others will give credence to the Word of God only by the life his followers lead.
It is hard to witness to others about Christ and his gift if you are living a life self-absorbed and isolated from Christ’s teachings. People sin and will always sin especially Christians but we detract from the great commission if we cannot witness to others because they discount us and our message based on the way they see us live our life.

So you did not make a the Covenant with the Lord and have no need to keep the Lord’s Commanments?
COVENANTS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
Heb 12
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
Heb 13
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
