I have yet to find in the scriptures where the Holy Spirit witness in the negative!
If something is true you receive a confirmation if not you receive nothing!
THREAD LOCKED. So, Inmans and so-called "antis", be aware when this tactic is begun.
I said: One would believe that a question like this is not straightforward, but a means to make available the opportunity for a reply to the effect that I do not have the requisite qualifications to converse with the Lord because of my status as an unworthy apostate.
You said: I have yet to find in the scriptures where the Holy Spirit witness in the negative!

WASH, RINSE AND REPEAT! AGAIN, A TESTIMONY IS DISCREDITED BY A MORMON APOLOGIST!
Exactly.
The charlatan Joseph Smith should have read these words below (his followers also):
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Colossians 2: 8
So the Lord distinctly told you that the Book of Mormon is not true in those words?
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, Never mind, all is wellI am well enough off. I then said to my mother, I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.
Of course SOMEone does!
It don't match what we KNOW to be true; for our beloved Organization has told us so!
