I have gone to many for advice on the Scripture. I don't even read Greek or Hebrew. When it comes to that, there are many millions in the world who don't read any language at all. They would have to find somebody they trust. I trust Christ, who sent His Holy Spirit to the lead the Church into all truth; and that is why I trust the teaching Church.
Christ redeems personally and specifically, not through some institution, but by God's grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

Maybe just try reading the Bible on your own. God didn't intend that all men had to read Hebrew or Greek to understand Christ has paid for the sins of His flock. It's just not that difficult.
And those who say it is difficult are needlessly obscuring the truth at their own peril.
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." -- 1 Corinthians 1:18
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." -- John 16:33 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" -- Phil. 1:6
