It seems as though you study the bible. Is the bible not replete w/ the admonition to seek for these types of answers from the Lord through revelation by the Holy Ghost? The Lord tells us as noted earlier in James 1:5 as well as many other scriptures, that if we will come to Him in faith, w/ a sincere desire, he will answer those prayers. I don't understand how that can be such a tough concept to grasp for those that believe & study the bible. It's like, I'll believe the bible & it's teachings, but only if I'm reduced to figuring it out on my own DESPITE what the Lord says. If the Lord says to come to him w/ those questions, wouldn't your faith in Christ lead you to do so, regardless of what the "wise" have said for centuries?

In as far as the trinity is concerned, what I have asked for in many posts before hand is for anyone to explain how the definition of the trinity relates & coincides w/ a number of scriptures.

John 14:28 "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I". How can one be greater than the other if they are one in the same?

How about John 20:17 "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God". And of course there are all the scriptures where the Lord is praying to the Father (or to himself, according to many)or where the Father is speaking of the Son (the Lord's baptism by John the Baptist). And of course where the Lord gives a definition of "one" in John 17:11 "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are".

John 17:22-23 "22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." How do you rectify the STARK differences between what I believe man put together in the creeds & what the Lord himself described as "one" in the bible. Obviously, there are many more references I could cite but these are just a few examples scripturally that seem to refute the whole trinity concept.

So, if the trinity isn't definitive in the scriptures, how would one really KNOW the truth w/o going to the Lord & asking for it. I realize the trinity has been Christian dogma for centuries, but the world being flat was accepted dogma for a long time as well. Didn't make it true.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a prophet on the earth as in days of old to clear up these kinds of issues? To set the record straight. The Lord never said prophets were no longer needed nor that we would never have one to lead us again. They had scriptures to guide them back then as well. All these different Christian Churches w/ all their different & competing doctrines.

Do you really believe we're left on our own to figure it all out? The Lord told us otherwise in the bible & I accept that. Isn't that really far from what the adversary would teach us?

You say you seek revelation. Then don’t ask me about the Trinity. Ask God the Father through faith in YahShua and He will reveal what you need through the Holy Spirit.

BTW, there is a person who can answer these questions. It’s God Himself through faith in Christ by the Holy Spirit.

OTOH, the Adversary would just love to have somebody answer these questions independent of faith through the Son as one with the Father. That affords the Adversary an opportunity to distract our thinking into believing in a counterfeit plan, such as those who think God the Father has a body and procreates or into thinking Jesus Christ was a created angel as Lucifer was.
