Funny, I thought it was outlined well in Romans 5:18 "Therefore, as through one mans offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Mans righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life." Mary's mysterious role in salvation is not mentioned. Instead it is because sin came through Adam that Jesus became flesh as a restoration of all men to life. Not because of some desire for birth through Mary.
