What is that thing?
It seems that “Allah” just means “God,” although it once refered to a different God. Sounds like Arabs calling The Father, “Allah” is no different than English Christians calling Him “God.”
BUT...
For an English (or Dutch) person to call Him “Allah” would be strange indeed, since doing so would be to treat “Allah” as a proper noun, which would then pick up distinctly non-Christians overtones.
Sounds like an Arabian Christian referring to God as “Allah” is fine, but a Dutchman calling him “Allah” is insane.
>> Arabic, like Hebrew before it, is a Semitic language. In Hebrew, el, was the word for god - lower case g - as in idols. Elohiym was used with the article to convey God with a capital G. In Arabic, el became il. Then, over time, Arabs derived a secondary word for god, ilah. With al being the Arabic word for the, Muslims would have us believe that Allah is a contraction of al and ilah. But the first pillar of Islam contradicts this claim when it says: There is no ilah but Allah. If Allah were the Arabic word for god it would have been written: There is no allah but Allah. <<
Very unconvincing argument. “There is no god but God” actually makes loads of sense. Likewise, “there is no allah but Allah” makes sense.
If searching for Islam in Revelations, here’s a tip: recall the Mohammed is called “the prophet.”
Sure it makes sense
allah = il ilah
Allah = Allah
Which means what? Is Mohammed being reincarnated?
Excellent.
I wish I could hire everyone to read such historical facts . . . especially the traitorous idiots in Congress.
Very good. Thanks.
Straight from the Qur’an, chapter 109. (unbelievers consists of everyone who does not believe in Islam)
The Disbelievers
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
[109.1] Say: O unbelievers!
[109.2] I do not serve that which you serve,
[109.3] Nor do you serve Him Whom I serve:
[109.4] Nor am I going to serve that which you serve,
[109.5] Nor are you going to serve Him Whom I serve:
[109.6] You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion.
If Mohammed doesn’t think that Christians and Jews worship the same god as Muslims, then who are we to argue!!!!!!!
