Who knows, I might. Hasn’t happened yet, but I’m prepared to give it another shot. My 16-year-old daughter told the Greek Orthodox that electric guitars would improve their liturgy :-).
I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if, two years from now, with proper exposure along the lines of what EWTN can provide, 10% of currently active Catholics attend the TLM on at least a regular basis on Sundays. I also wouldn’t be surprised if, with the same catalyst, several million curently inactive, older American Catholics return to the practice of their Faith, spearheaded by their active participation in the TLM of their younger days.
Even if I’m guessing on the high side here, I think I’m within the correct order of magnitude, at least. I have no doubt that my own ordinary, Cardinal O’Malley, will have his opinion that “there is simply no interest” put to lie in short order.
