Most Baptists would not make this claim. Baptism is a very serious ordinance that should be only entered into after a great deal of reflection. Our pastor, to his credit, requires anyone who wants to be baptized to attend classes so they understand what they are professing.

If Rick Warren wants a party, there are plenty of other opportunities then church ordinances. One should remember that the Corinthians turned the Lord's Supper into a party and God was none too happy.
