...and yet, I would have to guess that the majority of American Christians - perhaps even the vast majority - choose churches not based on what those churches teach or do, but on how attending one service or another makes them feel. Instead of rejecting out of hand a church that would promote gay marriage, accept abortion, allow the worship of pagan gods, or even build a mosque, they are swayed by praise and worship music or sacramentalism into ignoring the termites beneath the foundation.

My wife likes Lord of Amazing Grace for it's food court.
The kids are lobbying for Sacred Blessed Spirit for the theme park and rides.
Now I've got to decide, and I'm partial to Grace in the Living Word for its jazz band services.
