There is no one view of sola scriptura, that's the point. If there were, there would be only one Protestant denomination. If Scripture were meant to be the sole rule of faith, how can the plethora of denominations be seen as anything other than an absolute refutation of this non-biblical, man-made doctrine? You see I learned long ago on this very forum, from those that hold to the doctrine, that there is no uniform definition of understanding of what “Sola Scriptura” is. It seems to range form the very strict if-its-not-in-the-Bible-it’s-not-from-God, to the if-it-dosent-conflict-with-scripture-it’s-safe usage.
If sola scriptura is of God, why does He let His children wonder in the maze of denominations the doctrine has spawned?

Yes, the "wonder" (sp) of denominations is a wonder. Do they worship a different God?
It appears very important to you to have one single and definitive definition of any "dogma".
Is there a dogma of Infallibility?
If so what is it and where is it published?
Where can I find the Infallible pronouncements of the Popes? (I choose this to simplify my question.)
