If Adam had had such clear and consistent thought, reason, righteousness, etc, then why did he sin?

I explained that in one of my early post, although I must confess I don't read all these post. Adam lacked the one thing that both he and our Lord Jesus needed, wisdom. I used as my text:

Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are all different things. Wisdom must be given to us by God the Father. Adam obviously lacked wisdom from above. Consequently, he sinned.

Are you saying that Adam and Jesus started out in the same fashion? No, that’s not possible.

Wisdom? If you have perfect righteousness, doesn’t that preclude the ability to sin? Do you consider wisdom a part of righteousness?
