Kosta, I "think" you yourself have said that your own faith defies objective reason. You can't "prove" that your faith is reasonable by human standards Faith, hope, belief is not a proof. If I say I believe, I don't have to prove anything. If I say I know for a fact, then proof is required.

THough certainly if one decided to start looking at evidence the Eastern church wins there too; there is no archaological or historical evidence that anything like protestantism existed until the 15th century. (The sad but true is no less striking than the science which proves that the South Americans are not the lost tribe of Israel and there is no evidence of a pre-colonial modern civilization in North America much to the chagrin of mormons...)

If it is, then that is what we use to prove that we all can have assurance. If the Bible is not good for proof in your view, then nothing can be proved in Christianity. I believe the Bible SHOULD always be good enough for proof as to other Christians.

Not if you’re a Marcionite Gnostic, my friend. If you combine that with your favourite revolving heresy of the day, there’s no telling what theology you can concoct.
