If you continue to presume what I read and believe, then you will continue to make assertions that are incorrect and ignorant. You have no idea who you are talking to, nor how much I know. It was YOUR assertion that Paul wrote the epistle for the Thessaloniacans, not mine. It was YOU who said he didn’t write it to me. Therefore, it is YOU who made irresponsible and unfounded assertions, not me.
I didn't make any comments about what YOU read or believe when I discussed Paul's letter TO THE THESSALONIANS. I had thought the title would be self-explanatory. I guess that was an incorrect assumption on my part. I hadn't realized that Paul, in the back of his mind, was actually writing to "irishtenor" 2000 years later...
While we, as Christians, can utilize Scriptures, which are "useful for corrections and teachings, etc.", they were not written directly to us - nor was Paul telling Americans Calvinists of 2000 years later that each and every one of them was heaven-bound.
And secondly, I don't believe I addressed you to begin with. It was you who interjected your opinion in my conversation with Dr. E. I thank you for your opinion, but you can now stop throwing around the personal accusations that were not addressed to you in the firt place.
