We understand Paul’s words through the lens of the Gospels. We say that the Paulines are exclusivist, not Paul; we say that the Paulines are wrong, not Paul. We speak and you misinterpret our words ...

I suppose I forgot to apply the Apostolic lens of the Gospels. If I had then it would have been clear to me that when you said "Paul" you really meant "those who disagree with me about Paul". :) I can see that this lens of yours is going to be very difficult to follow. :)

It isn’t me. It is the Church.

The mainstream of Christianity has no trouble seeing through this lens. Given your postings here, I would venture to say that you’d not find it hard either. :)
