Then how do you explain this? :

Eph 2:10 : For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

If God prepared the works in advance for us to do, then we are here until we have done them all. Once we have completed every good work that He has prepared for us, then it is time to come home.
