[.. I rely on miracles, too, dear brother in Christ! ..]

Indeed many that do not believe in "miracles" rely on them anyway because their very existence is a miracle.. The window of life is very tenuous on this planet.. A little farther or closer to the Sun life(as we know it) could not exist.. No (earthly)axis held in place because of the moon... life could not exisit.. Just a little different atmosphere life could not exist.. This solar system being in a different setting this planet would/could be at extreme risk.. The Sun a little bigger or smaller or the Sun made of different elements life could not exist.. And because of much more probably... things I don't even know about life could not exit..

Yes.. we all rely on miracles.. daily.. moment by moment..
LOVE in all its nuances is a miracle versus random chance..
Random chance is so robotic.. Robots do not and can not Love..
Unless love is simulated.. which is not LOVE at all...
Must be why some/many have a robotic God.. and simulated Love..

Love of God takes/requires faith.. and is itself a miracle..
And miracle upon miracle upon miracle to generate it(love)..
Its all quite wonderful.. and miraculous..

Truly said.

When one looks at the physical laws and physical constants it is as if they were precisely tuned for life. (Paraphrasing from our book, “Timothy:”)

Gravity is 10-28 the strength of electromagnetism. If it were increased by a factor of 1010 then fewer atoms would be required in a star to crush its core and make a nuclear furnace, the stars would be about 2 kilometers in diameter and would use of all their nuclear fuel in approximately a year. Conversely, if gravity were much weaker than it is, the gas clouds of hydrogen and helium after the big bang would never have collapsed in the inflationary universe model. No life either way – it had to be precisely so.

If the strong nuclear force had been just 13 percent stronger, all of the free protons would have combined into helium-2 at the early stage of the big bang, decaying right away into deuterons, which would then fuse to become helium-4. There would be no hydrogen, no water, and no hydrocarbons. A decrease of approximately 31 percent would make the deuteron unstable and remove a step in the chain of nucleosynthesis. Consequently there would be nothing but hydrogen in the universe.

Water is another example. The hydrogen bond is the attraction of the electron-rich oxygen atoms of water molecules for the electron-starved hydrogen atoms of other water molecules. This in turn determines the precise H-O-H bond angle of 104.5 degrees. This hydrogen bond is what holds together the two strands of DNA — it also causes the crystalline structure of ice (an open lattice), which is less dense than the liquid form. Thus, ice does not collect at the bottom of lakes and oceans — building up to a frozen earth. Instead, the ice on the surface acts as an insulation, which prevents evaporation and keeps the water beneath warm.

There’s an even more unlikely process in carbon resonance. Within stars, two helium-4 nuclei merge to make beryllium-8, which only exists for about 10–17 of a second. So a third alpha particle (helium nucleus) must collide and fuse with the beryllium nucleus in a tiny interval of opportunity in order to make carbon. Lucky for us that there is a resonance in the three-helium reaction at the precise thermal energy of a star’s core. If it weren’t so, then most carbon would be quickly processed into oxygen.

And then there is the antimatter. Where did it go? In the big bang, both particles and anti-particles were created and destroyed in pairs — equally. They annihilated each other in a burst of gamma radiation. And yet one proton and electron per billion escaped this annihilation.

Moreover, that the earth is habitable is highly unlikely. Our sun has just the right metals and its orbit within the Milky Way is almost circular — which keeps it away from the galaxy’s dangerous spiral arms. Most of the other stars have elliptical orbits. Also, our solar system is located in a position within the galaxy such that it isn’t adversely subjected to the gravity of the center of the galaxy, and we don’t suffer from the radiation (gamma rays and such) like other solar systems in our galaxy.

Personally, I consider the “unreasonable effectiveness of math” [Eugene Wigner] to be God’s copyright notice on the cosmos. Mathematics, by the way, is a universal "language."

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. – Psalms 19:1-3

I suspect that many do not realize that science has not yet answered these origin questions:

1. Origin of space/time.

2. Origin of life.

3. Origin of inertia.

4. Origin of information.

5. Origin of conscience (sense of right v wrong, good v evil, etc.)

6. Origin of consciousness (including decision processes)

Christians should never let science get them down:

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen. - I Timothy 6:20-21

To God be the glory!
