When I was younger, my little family would camp in the Smokies every summer (Elkmont or Smokemont). I would catch trout for my first wife to cook and eat ... I don’t care for the bony little buggers. The cold mountain streams were great in the hot summer and catching the fish was all the more fun. Eventually, I dropped the fishing and played in the creeks with the kids, building stream diversions to raise water flumes for kids to throw themselves through screaming with joy. Ah, the memories

In the summer my family would go camping every weekend. I love to camp in tents and hike. I’m not so hot on fishing, but we loved to play in the water, build dams, and generally get each other wet.
