I suppose if my first wife died....I'd not call her my "wife" if I had a new wife....
Maybe I'm mistaken, here. And if it's just a slip of the tongue....just tell me, and I will understand. I have been personally effected by cancer..and in no way mean to take advantage of your circumstance.
Like I said...I just found your comment odd.
Tell me if I'm wrong here.....
Well, if someone’s first wife died and he has a new wife, then I can understand his defense of Mormonism (unfounded IMO). He would believe in eternal polygamous marriage where both of his wives and all of his children would be sealed to him for eternity. They have the potential to become god and godesses and rule over worlds of their own creation - - very temptimg for those who are bereaved.
My first wife died from cervical cancer 4 1/2 years ago and I remarried 3 1/2 years ago. I had three children with the first and two with the second, ranging from nearly 14 years to a 6-week old. Oh, they’re all boys!
I yakked on so long yesterday because I couldn’t get any work done - the wife was exhausted and let me take care of the baby in the office. Having a fussy, crying baby really puts one out of the mood to work.
Now, I’m behind schedule and watching the Harry Potter movie only made things worse ... Still I had a good time with the family.
