This is a point that needs emphasizing over and over again.
The One Catholic and Apostolic Church is not MY church. It is the Church that Jesus Christ established on Earth. It’s His. Not mine, not yours and not any human being’s. Martin Luther formed a church. So did Jimmy Swaggart and Ted Haggard. So did L. Ron Hubbard, for that matter. So did John Smyth. So did Mary Baker Eddy. So did the Campbells. All proud enough to form their own church. With the fiction that they were smart enough to interpret Scripture on their own, regardless of Scripture’s own command not to do that.
I’ve been blessed with the grace of God and been able to follow Him by following His Church, and through Her, His teachings. The Orthodox Catholics, as has been very well explained here, have some internal differences from Rome. No problem. We are all one Church.
