I know this maybe shocking but we don’t live in a vacuum.
Most of my church are EX Catholics. They actually talk about what they were taught in the Catholic church and find it doesn’t match the Bible.
Most of them don't have the slightest shred of a clue what authentic Catholic teaching is. Unfortunately, I can't hold them entirely responsible for that; the Church itself is highly blameworthy.
And no, Mary is not my redeemer, and the Catholic Church teaches no such thing. She did, however, coöperate in a unique way with the objective redemption, as the Bible clearly teaches.
