If you read the Revalation, you are immediately struck by the ignorance of the people in that age. That leads many to believe the Bible will be outlawed prior to the End of the Age. Very likely the King James will be and only the 'modern, non-offensive, ecumenical 'bible' will be allowed.

It would be difficult to completely rewrite the Bible to the point where Revelation was washed away. It would be easier to just ban it.
