"A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast."

Our choirmaster and his wife have 1 horse, 3 ponies, 1 mule, 4 miniature horses, I dunno how many goats right now, a Vietnamese potbelly pig, a flock of chickens, guineas, and a buncha ducks. And that's the OUTDOOR animals - 2 dogs, 3-4 cats (1 or 2 are very shy and we never see them), a couple of rabbits and many parrots, cockatoos and cockatiels.

They get fed on Sundays just like every other day! (we love going up there to help!)

For a while I ran a couple of hundred sheep. NOw I'm down to a dog and a family of feral cats who hate me personally but expect the welfare handout.

Every Sunday is a day of rejoicing, so they all get special treats on the Lord's Day.

I hope to get a couple of cows and a couple of dairy goats this year. I LOVE goats and take great exception to our Lord's division of sheep and goats -- except that I loved my sheep too ....

But goats are so funny and dear.
