Sounds great! I hope you feel better soon. I lost my voice once as an allergy symptom, and I felt like my throat had been cut.

We had a young Nigerian priest in Oklahoma, but he was very kind. He advised me to avoid apologetics, as I didn't seem to have the temperament for it :-). We may still name a son after him, if we have another ... "Paul Amaliri."

I made my first confession to a Thai Redemptorist Father who was temporarily assigned to our parish. Poor guy! he had to sit there and listen for ever and ever to 45 years' worth of sins! He was very kind.
