You're right, I erred when I said it was the night of the Lord's Resurrection (which was when He gave His Authority to the Apostles), it was actually some days later. Christ founded His Church on Peter's confession and then clarified things on the shore of Galilee.

And, as I recall, this was when Peter had been fishing (As if he needed any other qualification to be Pontifex Maximus. The man could fish!) I mention it because it probably explains the "fish hat" referred to earlier.
