Nope!

Neither does "Peter" another fallible mortal.

My Bible tells me it is CHRIST who leads the church and why CHREISTIANS follow Him. Catholics don't follow Him - well, when it fits in with their yarn of a religion ... then when it doesn't they look to other sinners with an agenda to lead them and control them.

Pss.118:8,9

[8] It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

[9] It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Confidence is placed in another sinner, the pope. They will NOT fare well with this trust in him. His teachings are NOT in line with Christ - a few here and there ARE but there are enough that are NOT that separate them from Christians.
