Which Bible Chip? When was it authored and compiled?
Everything you need to know about Catholicism in the Bible:
http://www.scripturecatholic.com/
I would kindly suggest you bookmark this site and read the contents.
What you don't realize is the fatal flaw in your belief system is that the person sitting next to you does the same and draws different conclusions about the same set of scriptures. Which one of you is right and how do you go about proving it? Which one of you is truly following the Spirit with in them and why should any of us trust or believe anything you have to say?
Scott Hahn a weak belief in the bible???
ROTFLMAO!!!!
You don't have a clue who Hahn is do you?
Here's a clue....he knows alot more about the bible than you do.
Does this mean they believe for only seven days?
I have to admit --- that is funny!!!
Makes sense to me...
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Jesus surely didn't say "salvation is of the Catholics"...
He didn't say salvations is of the Protestants either who by the way only exist because of the Catholic church.
Catholic Converts - Richard John Neuhaus
Catholic Converts - Avery Cardinal Dulles
Catholic Converts - Israel (Eugenio) Zolli - Chief Rabbi of Rome
Catholic Converts - Robert H. Bork , American Jurist (Catholic Caucus)
You should have said The Catholic canon of the Bible was determined by the Catholic Church...
There's a few hundred million people that disagree with that...And Jesus as well...
Here's the OT canon:
Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
lol! Maybe their 'mission', should they choose to accept it, self-destructs on the eighth day?
(YIKES! I knew there was a reason I decided a long time ago to stay away from FR on Sundays, but I'm so glad to see moderators on their toes now! Very welcome change from the old days.)
It's amazing if you check the Protestant thread discussing their beliefs, no one is on them.
Leads me to believe the only way you can back up your belief is by bashing another's.
Have a great day!
Too dumb to argue with, in my opinion.
The one that Timothy had and compiled as the letters were being written, and then used by Ignatius, and Irenaeus, and Tertullian, and Mellito, and Athanasius and the one that Diocletian searched out for the flames, that Pontiff Constantine hired Eusebius to make copies of in 330 AD, and the one that Jerome used to make his Latin revision, the one that the Waldensians used ... Why? Was there another one?
Rambling on and on and on....with a whole lot of errors. Not worth the time spent to read it.
Well, good luck to you...But understand, you can get spiritual experiences in most any religion...The bible says 'Prove all things'...
Don't worry, I've also got some St. Sebastian Arrows. :-D
This man is not praying out of love. No one who tells such base and ignorant lies about Catholics can claim to love them.
I do not mind honest discourse about differences in Protestant and Catholic Theology or even Protestant and Protestant Theology. Provided it is based on true beliefs of either church. Beliefs such as is justification by faith alone? Is Christ truly present in the Eucharist?
The issue of free will vs predestination. Is Baptism regenerative or only a sign of belief? These are doctrines where there is a vast range of beliefs amongst Christians. No harm in discussing and defending our different viewpoints.
But the author's screed is a step above Jack Chick comic. So I just can not find any actual love in his prayer.
