Certainly not.
However, interviewers ARE supposed to follow up answers that are ambiguous to them with clarifying questions.
It's not a Christian thing.
It's a common sense thing.

Since they'd worked together for 2 years, I suspect the interviewer didn't need to go any farther. (or is that "further?" :>)
