Fr. Al Kimel was an Anglo-Catholic priest who started the blog Pontifications in 2004 to discuss theological issues. Many commentors came from the Orthodox, Lutheran, Anglican backgrounds. Scroll down the page and click on his archives. Click on the comments and read the thoughtful and yes, challenging answers to Fr. Kimel's posts.
Fr. Kimel left the Episcopal Church and was received into the Catholic Church in May 2005 and was ordained under Pastoral Provision in December 2006.
Anyway, Fr. Kimel articulated what a lot of us former Episcopalians were agonizing over and several of us swam the Tiber around the same time he did. His blog became a meeting place of sorts for those of us struggling about where to go.
What passes for rowdy threads on Pontifications would be positively a lovefest here.
Check keyword "anglican". There is an article in the Times of London today positing a reunion of the Catholic and Anglican Churches. It has over 1200 views and I didn't see your name as a poster. Sionnsar has pinged his group.
