My original autographed Scofield KJV with original notes in Aramaic updated through the various councils and thoroughly re-annointed at the last Council of Aaaragh says he was "full of faith and power". The Textus Receptus reads as follows:
stefanov de plhrhv pistewv kai dunamewv ...
Freely translated this means Stephen, being fully loaded with pistols and dynamite...

ROFL! Now don't confuse them with going back to what the Greek ACTUAL says. You're correct that Charis is not a part of the equation.

Hold on Harley,
I've just had a word from his eminence, P-Marlowe (LPFOKETT GAHCOEEP-w/o*), may no one cough at the mention of his name, that my original Scofield KJV with notes in Aramaic might have a mistranslation concerning Stephen. Do to his august stature and girth, the usual council was bypassed and he has pronounced Stephen to be "fully loaded with pistols and dynamite...". That should come as a surprise to those who stoned him. We are awaiting further word on any repercussions from this revelation.

Let me revise my statement. Charis isn't a part of it in two of the Greek texts, though Westcott Hort uses it. Schrivner and Stephanus do not. They use Pisteuo.

Freely translated this means Stephen, being fully loaded with pistols and dynamite...LOL...I suppose that makes me a one-point Stephenist, as I have pistols but no dynamite.
