I think we are agreed. I think kosta50 is trying to avoid an explanation of the incarnation that presumes genetic reductionism. And I think P-Marlowe is trying to ensure that Christ's human nature truly derives from Mary, David, Abraham and Adam, in fulfillment of the prophecies, and also to ensure that we are not saying that Christ's human nature was created de novo, but rather, that we affirm that Christ is truly one of our race, a true descendent of Adam, so that He is truly the second Adam, and so that He truly saves our race. So I think we all agree (at least on this issue!).
