Traducianism states that God created the soul of Adam and that this soul is propagated from generation to generation, at the moment of conception. It doesn't say that the parents "create" the soul.

I disagree. I have already posted a document stating otherwise (Creationism or Traducianism? by Dr. Francis Turretin). The interpretation of your site has no basis. Just because it's Protestant doesn't mean anything anymore. Few Protestants are actually Protestants.

Gnostics taught that humans were divine souls trapped in a material world created by an evil spirit. That isn't the same thing as saying God created all souls in the beginning.

The proceedings against Origen was directly related to the Gnostic view posted above. Consider this charge:
Whoever says or thinks that human souls pre-existed, i.e., that they had previously been spirits and holy powers, but that, satiated with the vision of God, they had turned to evil,

The Gnostics viewed the soul as pre-existing but were trapped in an evil, material world (see above in blue). That isn't what I'm saying at all. They are not trapped but created for a purpose.

Earlier I stated that our Lord's soul must have existed in Melchizedek. I will have reexamine this position in light of this "curse". But reading through this document I see nothing that would persaude me I'm incorrect in other areas.

That's what traducianism teaches. God made the method of pro-creation for all lviing beings, so that they pass on their life to their offspring.

I have looked at your Puritan link (you call them "real" Protestants?) and it is essentially no different than the Protestant link I provided. Your ;ink is decidedly creationist in line with the Catholic and Reformed way of thinking (mine was neutral).

I don't know why you would do that. Hebrew 7:3 states "Without father, without mother, without genealogy...that should be a hint that it is not Christ, for Christ has a Father and a Mother and royal genealogy (related to King David); the Gospels even start with His genealogy!
