Please don't offer up such incorrect and spurious translations as the above. You know better than that.
Spurious? Incorrect? I would say that the one who is offering an incorrect and spurious intrepretation is the one that DENIES the Trinity and calls it a heresy. You are in disagreement with more the overwhelming majority of Christendom.
Somehow.....I feel very comforted by that fact. Especially when I am in disagreement with the Apostate Catholic Church. The Church that claims to have all authority to stipulate what is what when it comes to theology......but in reality the organization is nothing but a vehicle for false doctrine that deceives the world.
The spirit, the water and the blood.
These are the things that agree!
You said to Diego1618: **..You are in disagreement with more the overwhelming majority of Christendom.**
I ask: Is the term 'Christendom' applicable to any sect that adherrs to all or part of the NT? Many of these sects that believe that God is a trinity of three separate and distinct persons contradict each other in areas vehemently, calling each other 'cults'.
Jesus' parable about the wedding where one showed up without a wedding garment, His mentioning of those that say "Lord, Lord..". They did this or that in his name, and his response? "I never knew you". Matt. 7 (same chapter where he says "few there be that find it")
