All I do is PROTEST the lies.

Some folks respect the integrity I speak out of. They learn from my humble words and recognize the truth in them. Others don't. May God give whatever increase He desires.

I'm sure every thinking person knows many facts, the concrete specific support of which has been lost to the fuzziness of their aging memory. Doesn't negate the facts.

Since this is the time of the Lord's church (ever since that Holy Ghost pouring out on the day of Pentecost) we teach and preach the same thing that Peter and the apostles did.

Could you please provide a list of your doctrines/teachings so that I can compare? Perhaps you could show me a website that provides your Statement of Faith and list of your practices? Why should it be up to me to look up your faith?

The body of believers is never called "Catholic" (Roman or otherwise) in scripture.

The body of believers was not referred to as "Christians" until the Gospel had been taken to Antioch, years after Pentecost. According to your reasoning, therefore, there were no Christians until the believers were called Christians in Antioch.

"All you do is POST the lies."

What that the Catholic Church by dictionary meets the definition of denomination?

"Could you please provide a list of your doctrines/teachings so that I can compare?"

That's the prob. You don't know the difference between the two.

Every time I point out one of your lies, you try to change the subject. Don't now pretend you don't know what you did.

While reading the Church fathers and the first three hundred years of Church history, I came to the conclusion, as a Protestant, that all the oldest churches were Catholic. That's one of the main reasons I became Catholic.

Yeah....like I said. It's a very common error. You made it too!

But that's no big deal....Protestants are as mixed up about scripture as you guys.

That's not what Petronski said up the thread. Petronski said that Peter was Christian before JC was dead, buried, and resurrected.

For clarification, which is it?

How were they "flippant"?

Ok, Marajade..one more time. I told you before how Catholics revere the Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We even have churches named "Holy Name of Jesus."

You have seen how many Catholics have come forward tonight to tell you that saying JC is not a proper way to address our Lord. You're big on dictionary meanings. Webster's states that flippant means "lacking proper respect or seriousness."

When you address the Lord as JC, it is lacking proper respect or seriousness" that our Lord certainly expects of us and should be given to Him. He died for your sins and mine. He certainly deserves the most respectful address we can give Him.

Exactly what reasoning of mine are you referring to?

I just did. #401. You're pretense that I haven't pinpointed it is, in itself, deceptive.

Petronski said that Peter was Christian before JC was dead, buried, and resurrected.

So what if he did? Sheesh! Wasn't Jesus the Christ? A Christian is anyone who follows Christ. Talk about splitting hairs.
