We know that the Apostles had the authority from Christ, and so we know that those ordained by the Apostles (and those in sacramental succession from the Apostles) have this authority.

Who ordained Paul? Who ordained the Gentiles in Acts 10:47-48?

She determines who has the Spirit by way of succession.

How much evil has entered this church of yours "by way of succession"? Wouldn't a better standard be that which Jesus Himself was identified by?

Notice your circular reasoning: You claim to determine the correct interpretation of Scripture by having the Holy Spirit.

Then you claim to show that you have the Holy Spirit by appealing to Scripture.

And how do know that your appeal to Scripture is correct? Oh yes, because you have the Holy Spirit. And on and on goes the circle.

That's the same circle I see over and over again among Protestants. It is simply gnosticism.

Or maybe you're saying that at the time that Christ said that to Peter, Peter was not a disciple of Christ? That's another crazy suggestion.

Wow. At 20,000+ Protestant sects all claiming that the leader of their 'Church" is JC, either JC is not doing a good job leading, or many people are seriously deluded.
