Greetings from India. I am an Orthodox Indian Catholic of Portuguese Descent from the Former Portuguese Colony of Goa in India and I lived for 4 years near Atlanta, Georgia.
I just loved Georgia and specially the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta where I often used to go to pray.
It is good to know that you are from Georgia.
On this Thread, I have stated that my first nightmarish Experience in Religious Life was at the Trappist Monastery of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia when I was a Postulant there in 1999.
It almost broke my faith in the Catholic Church and it is only through the awesome Homilies of Father Altier that I am a Practicing Orthodox Catholic today.
As, Father Altier would often say if you spoke to him.
"Praised be Jesus Christ"
It is appalling that Abbots, Provincials, Bishops, and Archbishops are indifferent and are also in denial about widespread "Homosexuality" that exists in a number of Monasteries and Friaries in the United States as well as in Europe.
Unless something is done asap, I fear that the Catholic Church will be destroying itself and there will not be a Church to speak of in Europe or parts of North America in the future.
