That statement was addresed to the Apostles. The last of them died about 1900 years ago. It has no application to any person living today, Catholic or otherwise.

That statement was addresed to the Apostles. The last of them died about 1900 years ago. It has no application to any person living today, Catholic or otherwise. The office of "apostle" is to be continued (Acts 1:20-26) to the present day.
