This reads like the investigator has a vested interest in seeing that John Paul II is canonized. If that's the case then it should be no surprise that the "miracles" needed to confirm him as a saint WILL be found.

Ken, surely you are not ignorant of the role of the "Devil's Advocate"? So why be surprised that the case for sainthood, too, has its advocates?

Oh, I'm not surprised there are advocates for sainthood for Pope John Paul II. I'd be more surprised if he doesn't reach the status of "saint" within the Catholic church. IMO sainthood for him was a done-deal the moment he died.
