Oops. Allow me to try to correct my answer to that. The Declaration that you refer to is only applicable to the Jews as a category (of laws) given directly to them at the time, IIRC. But there is also a law against idolatry for non-Jews (see Seven Noachide laws as given to Adam and Noah in Torah). The sites linked below can give much better answers than mine.
