When I say that God "wrote" the Bible I mean that He moved men to write only what He intended, and without any possibility of contamination by fallible men. I am saying that any individual intents (in any way contrary to exactly what God wanted), on the writers' own accounts, were not part of the mix. If you agree with that, then we are saying the same thing. If, however, you are saying that each writer, with God's guidance, simply used his or her own free will to "decide" to be perfect in what he or she wrote, then we disagree.
I agree with this. And why doesn't it follow that God would guide SOMEONE to be able to figure out what HE wrote in these letters? What is the point of writing a book that on one can agree on what it means?
