That kind of rationalisation scares me FK. You need to guard against such self deception. There have been numerous exmaples of people committing crimes and saying "God told me to do it." What you said above is probably what Eve was thinking as she bit into that fruit.

Well I hope not! :) Besides, at the time, Eve was listening to satan, not God. Many people who murder today in the name of God, such as Muslim terrorists, do not worship the God we do. Others, such as Andrea Yates, have mental issues. In addition, I have the advantage of the Bible at my disposal. If I ever thought God was telling me to do something contrary to the Bible, He would have to be pretty convincing. :) I would need a "burning bush" moment. I've never had one, so I'm not expecting one any time soon. Therefore, God knows how and does lead me to follow His teachings in the Bible. That's all I meant.
