This exception to the rule of inheritance is how Y'shua inherits the throne of King David without the line of Joseph or with the line of Joseph.

That explains the great pains Matthew takes in counting his lineage through Joseph - because some obscure Jewish law made them irrelevant. [/sarcasm]

And quit the faux Hebraisms. They're distracting, and irritating. He is never referred to as Yeshua, except by backslidden Jewish heretics. His name in the New Testament is Iesus.

What a wonderful christian witness.

His name is only Jesus in an English copy of a Greek copy of the scriptures
by an apostle.

Jesus is not an Englishman nor an American hence His name is not Jesus.

Y'shua is a Jew from the tribe of Judah
and His name was and is and will be always Y'shua,
which means YHvH is my Salvation ( Psalm 118-14)

Remember Salvation is from Tzion.

OBTW if you wish to understand Y'shua's claim to the throne of King David

see The Genealogies of Jesus

b'shem Y'shua
