It is sad to see the Roman Catholic church go to such lengths to maintain Mary's virginity.
According to the Marian Library, about 80% of the Catholic shrines are dedicated to Mary NOT Jesus.

No, it's not.
It is really rude for people to come into these devotional threads and trash our faith. This wasn't a theological debate, but Rosary was starting a celebration of a major religious feast day.
So, instead of being able to celebrate our faith, these people think they have to troll us. It makes it very difficult for us to say anything devotional when this happens.
This is like racism. It's religious bigotry.
"I firmly believe according to the words of the Gospel that a pure virgin brought forth for us the Son of God and remained a virgin pure and intact in childbirth and also after the birth, for all eternity. I firmly trust that she has been exalted by God to eternal joy above all creatures, both the blessed and the angels."--Ulrich Zwingli, Protestant reformer
To him through her. She tells us to do whatever he tells us.
And we're off!!!!
All of the Protestant Deformers believed in Mary's perpetual virginity.
Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, et al, disagree with you.
It is the very action of God who worked through Mary in which Jesus was born. It was Our Lord himself who found favor in Mary. Eternal salvation through the womb of Mary.
