It is sad to see the Roman Catholic church go to such lengths to maintain Mary's virginity.

According to the Marian Library, about 80% of the Catholic shrines are dedicated to Mary NOT Jesus.

Romans 3:23
“for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; (WEB)

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; (ASV)

For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God; (BBE)

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (DBY)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (WBS)

for all alike have sinned, and all consciously come short of the glory of God, (WEY)

for all did sin, and are come short of the glory of God -- (YLT)

It is really rude for people to come into these devotional threads and trash our faith. This wasn't a theological debate, but Rosary was starting a celebration of a major religious feast day.

So, instead of being able to celebrate our faith, these people think they have to troll us. It makes it very difficult for us to say anything devotional when this happens.

This is like racism. It's religious bigotry.

"Christ our Savior was the real and natural fruit of Mary's virginal womb ... This was without the coöperation of a man, and she remained a virgin after that."--Martin Luther, Protestant reformer

"I firmly believe according to the words of the Gospel that a pure virgin brought forth for us the Son of God and remained a virgin pure and intact in childbirth and also after the birth, for all eternity. I firmly trust that she has been exalted by God to eternal joy above all creatures, both the blessed and the angels."--Ulrich Zwingli, Protestant reformer

To him through her. She tells us to do whatever he tells us.

Us Catholics must be pretty dumb to actually write the New Testament and then wait centuries to blatantly contradict our own Scriptures!

On an unrelated note --and this is just a general observation, not a response to anything Matahari has posted -- has anyone noticed how many Protestants tend to demean Mary in their effor to oppose the Church? Saying things like how Mary was just a vessel to give birth to Christ, or that even Jesus didn't show her respect. As if Christ, who was the perfect and sinless man, would ever violate the Commandment to honor one's parents.

All of the Protestant Deformers believed in Mary's perpetual virginity.

It is the very action of God who worked through Mary in which Jesus was born. It was Our Lord himself who found favor in Mary. Eternal salvation through the womb of Mary.
