Thanks for this wonderful reminder! I don't see most of my Orthodox brothers and sisters around me (including myself!!!) remembering this part of the Christmas fast.
As a crazy Catholic who reads Orthodox threads for the wisdom therein, and who started Advent by saying I wasn't going to argue theology, and decided to treat the season as a lenten style fast, I found that an interesting confirmation of what I felt lead to.
Pray.
Think about what the season means.
Look at my life and look for blind spots that need God's light.
