If you never saw Clockwork Orange I bet you would find it interesting, basically they tried to "train" the main character out of his violent ways buy making him watch movies and would put these little contraptions on his eyes so he couldn't close them. Later on they thought it was cruel and unusual punishment so he went back to his old ways of raping and pillaging.

I did not however see anything on why one was supposed to have a silent birth, or basically not cry out in pain during a birth. Can you tell me why that is?
