When you say the Church, to what are you referring? the believers? the building? (ok sarcastic)
I once heard a pastor say that 2000 years ago if Paul were asked where the church was, he would answer: in that field over there tending the flock, in that store making bread (you get the idea) - it was the people. Yet, today when asked where the church is we say 123 Main Street.
It is preferred to live in the will of Christ, to die to ourselves is to live.

Yet, today when asked where the church is we say 123 Main Street. That one word has multiple meanings and the context of the question is all-important. If I am a stranger in a small town and ask someone "Where is the church?" I might get 123 Main Street. If I am participating in some discussion, say, of Katrina, and ask "Where is the church?" I will get a very different answer.
