Which is, of course, praying in tongues.
With Christian television going around the world via satellites, those never exposed to the false doctrines that praying in tongues is somehow wrong--ARE PRAYING IN TONGUES, LOL, thereby discovering it does work towards our glory, as Paul proclaimed in that verse :>).

Brother, the discussion here is NOT praying in tounges. If you look at the context, Brother Paul is speaking of the of the Glory of the Lord. (Now I know the OTHER Paul, Crouch, hates it when we say you have to study the Scriptures in context. But that's how you study Scripture.)
Paul is talking about spiritual thoughts coming in spiritual words. That is, the Christian's spirit is edified and shaped by these spiritual words. This is to contrast with the next part of the passage where Paul is talking about the natural man, whose spirit is NOT edified by spiritual words. Nowhere is the concept of speaking in tounges justified in this passage.
