That seems to be what he is saying. I really don't think this particular passage is all that relevant in our time and culture.

Keep reading. This was more or less cultural for that time period and Paul clearly did not insist on it for everyone.

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. (1Co 11:16)

When I came to Christ I was a long haired freaky person. Right now I'm a short haired freaky person, but if I had my choice I'd probably revert back. I don't like getting my hair cut. At my age though, if I let it grow out, it would probably fall out from the weight.

Way back in those days I remember some religious person who said that God would not hear the prayers of us "Jesus People", because allowing men to have long hair, and all the other ways we dressed was "regarding iniquity in our hearts". Psalms 66.13

If thats was not a move of God among us, I'd like to know what they thought it was?

Hello friend,

Well, according to 1 Corinthians 11:10, For this cause ought women to have power on her head because of the angels.

1 Corinthians 11:15 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

This is just my opinion until I am proven otherwise, men can have long hair as long as it is cut, women on the other hand should have long uncut hair. But the hair for the woman is a covering. I even looked at my bible to make sure it all matched word by word.

It seems like all of 1 Corinthians 11 1:1-16 talks about this.
