Hey, did you know that Jacob Prasch condemns pastors who have been divorced and remarried, but then does in-depth ministry with them? Freep-mail me if you want the names of the pastors, as I don't see any reason to expose them publically....

I don't personally or theologically have a problem with a divorced and remarried pastor, but Jacob Prasch does, and hearing Prasch speak, you'd think that he alone has the truth. I think that's what he thinks about himself.

It's sad. I say that, even having one of my articles posted on his website....

I have heard Jacob Prasch say that about divorced pastors (he zings Hal Lindsey and Zola Levitt all the time on his tapes), but I didn't know he still associated with them for all that. He is right to take marriage and divorce seriously and encourage other Christians to do so, but he is quite strident.

I usually like Jacob because he is a good Bible teacher, but he gets out there sometimes. In some of his articles, he lambastes GWB and Daddy Bush along the same lines as Michael Moore, and calls them terrible names.

Titus 1:6 An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.

7Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.

8Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.

9He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
