From the News of Australia, we have the report Jensen opposes female bishops:
Dr Jensen, whose Sydney diocese still does not have women priests, said the issue of women leading congregations went against the teachings of the Bible. As has been pointed out here and elsewhere, opposition to this move by the Church of England will come from both Anglo-Catholic and Reformed quarters. Archbishop Jensen is Reformed, as is the Church Society of the United Kingdom, whose website has a page on this issue that gives their viewpoint on this issue.
"There is a fundamental distinction between men and women and I think we've forgotten this," he said.
"I do think men are still men and women are still women and I want that reflected in ... family life and in church life."
1. The nature and role of episcopacy (Bishops)
It is argued that Bishops as they exist in the Church of England today are simply Presbyters (priests) who are set aside (consecrated) for a wider areas of ministry.
Since it is argued that Bishops are Presbyters with a wider area of ministry the theological question is essentially should women should be presbyters (priests).
3. Issues arising from the nature of episcopacy.
Because Bishops have wider areas of ministry the consecration of women Bishops raises particular practical issues.
The Commission was set up to look into the issues and make recommendations.
Three submissions printed in Churchman 116/1 (2002)
What motions have been passed by General Synod on this issue.
If the legislation goes ahead should any provision be made for opponents and if so in what form?

Dr Jensen is an Anglican.
Unfortunately the Church in Australia just erected to its head the socialist bishop of Bribane who immediately upon his elevation became an ignorant and outspoken advocate of and for Australia's failed and pathetic Labour Party.
