If you ask someone to put you on their ping list, then every time they post (or see a post here) anything that has to do with their ping list "topic" (end times, Israel, pope news, etc) YOU will get a "notice" to go and look at the new thread, new post, etc. Welcome, and I hope that explanation helps. :-)
